I AM A PRODUCT OF LIFE GIVING WORDS…

It all happened about three years ago when I decided to jump off a cliff in my professional life. I was a hairstylist for 16 years and owned several salons. I worked very hard in my business, managing operations, staff and also working behind the chair. After years of 10-12 hour days, I was ready to make some changes with my career. I loved being with people and I loved my job, but my body was feeling the effects of standing on my feet all day and my heart was heavy because everyone seemed to be hurting and struggling. I prayed for a year about making a transition into a different profession that would enable me to help people, have an income, and not be on my feet all day! 

After a year of prayer and fasting about making this change, I decided to jump off the cliff. I put my business up for sale and within a few months, it sold. Once this happened, I knew God was behind this plan and I was ready for my next season. 

Over the next three years, I dove into the health and wellness industry. I was very interested in natural health and healing. After 16 years as a hairstylist and an honorary therapist, I had a good idea of what people needed to change their lives and their health. The theme always seemed to be the same with the people I met. Everyone was overworked, overstressed, and having a hard time keeping up with the demands of life. This inspired me to find a way to truly help people. I wanted to find a way to give people practical steps to health and happiness. I spent the next three years researching, reading, taking courses on wellness, nutrition, spiritual principles, etc. I read everything I could get my hands on.

While this was going on, I had also invested in a wellness clinic in my local area. I hired Naturopathic Doctors, Chiropractors, Nutritionists, Acupuncturists, and Massage Therapists. I spent a good amount of time and money trying different services and equipment that would help people become healthier and happier. I had the privilege of being on the front line of people’s healing. I watched people get better from the services I provided. This fueled my passion to help people truly heal.

The problem I was facing is that the services were too expensive for most people and a lot of times, people would get better for a while and then fall back into their old habits, creating a need for them to come back. Although this is what most businesses want, it made me sad and frustrated that people would keep having to spend money on the same ailments and issues. This is not what I wanted to build my business on. I wanted to help people find relief and stay relieved! 

After three years of investing my heart, soul, and money into this dream, I was in debt and feeling the stress of running a business and trying to keep up with bills and payroll. This was NOT what I expected after jumping off a cliff by faith and investing everything I had into helping people!! I became depressed and felt like I was going to have to give it all up. I was determined to use the tools I had learned to effect change in my own life and my own situation. This is when I started implementing the power of affirmations into my daily quiet time.  

Each day I would focus on specific affirmations and I would repeat it for 5-10 minutes. Each day I did this, I could feel my spirit getting stronger, God kept reminding me that I have the power to control the outcome of my life. So I continued to make these Life Giving Words a part of my daily routine.

 

THE MIRACLE…

After years of being in debt and struggling financially, someone (a complete stranger) wanted to pay off my debt and relieve my financial burdens!!! I know this sounds too good to be true but it’s not. Someone had heard of my business (I did not know this person) and they liked what I was doing and simply wanted to bless me! This happened to me because I prayed and meditated on the blessings God had for me. Without wavering, I said the affirmations daily and envisioned my debt paid off, and it came true!!! 

After this happened to me, I was determined to make this process available to everyone. I wanted to create a program to remind you that YOU have the power to activate miracles in your life. YOU have the power and authority over your finances, health, relationships, and every area of your life!

 All you have to do is have faith and be diligent with your thoughts, your words, and your intentions!!!

I am so excited to share the power of Life Giving Words with you and to see miracles activate in your life too! I am happy to say that Life Giving Words is a non-profit organization that has been active for 30 years!! We have always had the heart to help people and now we have a tangible way to build a community of believers that want to see a massive change in their lives and in the world.

These programs have been developed by myself, my friends, and my family. This has been a labor of love and a community effort. We are so excited for you to try our programs and to see what miracles will happen for you!
